update, I have started budding my plants and am crushed....the big one is male / hermie. the smaller one is 100% female though and I cant wait until I start smoking its beautiful herbs. here are some pics I took 10 minutes ago before I destroyed it with my axe.

and this is my budbox that I made out of an old dresser. right now it is strictly to bud my plants and I use day light out in the yard for....daylight. after this girl finishes budding I am going to change the box to a full on dresser grow box, with a 250w hps, some fans & vents etc.

so my grow box is almost finished. only waiting on the light to arrive. I went with this....hoping for good results, 90% of the reviews I read are positive and big yields.
300W IR Full Spectrum LED Grow Light Panel for Medical Indoor VEG Flower Plants | eBay
here is the grow box right now. it has a 4" fan, power bar, 2 3" holes drilled in tho the top back for airflow, covered loosely with mylar foil., the door has my thermometer and hydrometer. after this one girl is done budding (3 - 4 weeks from now) I will have another one to bud by then, so I will install a scrog type grow when I get my light in the mail.
and here is the hawaiian snow 5 weeks into budding. pics taken minutes ago. she looks AMAZING. and smells even better!
if you are wondering about the sticks on the bottom of the plant in the last picture.... the reason is that I use those and twist-ties to hold down the branches so optimal light can get in, so I get big buds everywhere, even on the branches on the bottom of the plant.

I use a Rok brand and I like it. it was like $60. not expensive but I rarely vape, only when I am hiking or the wind is an issue.
and of course I will do a grow journal for the White Rhino that I germinated yesterday.
considering starting to grow in Marin. i have a card and live in an apartment. is it possible for me to do it? i'd be interested in having it replace buying from the dispensary.
you could do a dresser scrog grow like I am doing. its good for 1 plant that produces over an ounce every 10 weeks.

I made this tonight. If anyone has any experience making shatter, I would love to talk to you about it. This was only the third time ive done it.
a little trick I learned is to line the glass dish with a piece of parchment paper (tape the corners and sides to the outside of the dish for extra support). that way when it evaporates it all settles in one spot on the parchment, then you can just take it out of the dish when its done and start folding it into the middle into one piece of shatter, instead of scrapping it with a razor blade and transferring it to a piece of parchment or whatever. this saves you that step.

Ended up with this. Over all for the material i used im happy. I will refine my process everytime. Looking to get a purge to do it the almost right way.
