what do you guys think of my lazy grow LOL
been gone on and off for most of the months so it is OK considering
this valley has great growing conditions but fall gets moist a few weeks early for most cannabis strains

thinking of and already should have Sea of Green-ing the two sativa hybrids( I use 4 by 4 inch sheep panels supported by hand cut bamboo posts) that are in the straw and hardware wire planters

the CBD bush on ground is a mutant and is so thick with ridiculous leaves, not sure what it is doing other than growing a trunk and getting wider...anybody know Night Nurse strain?

and the autoflower just is what is it is
Looks like you have good outdoor conditions there .those are some nice bushes.it gets cold here early so outdoor is always a gamble

Everything looks nice and healthy for sure. If you sog the ones in straw, you need to dig a hole for them though (3/4 the height of the straw approx), or else to will have a difficult time working with them, unless you build a platform, or want to sketch it out on a ladder while leaning in. I'm wondering if their root ma's has gone into the soil at the same time. Do they have a base? If not, you'll need to get creative since they souldnt be moved.
Oh I think they are deep in the soil now...no bottom on those...I just use circle of hardware cloth and straw and soil loaded with chicken shit and goodies...can't be moved

Its gonna be tall if I do it and taller if I don't...been out of town and was gonna do it at 20 inches

If I do it I think I will just pinch and bend the lowest I am comfortable...and I work on ladders a few times a week so I am comfy(I have 8 ladders of various styles, my short orchard ladder is perfect I think.

Here's a thought. If you get netting right now, you could pinch and bend tops, then spread everything else out, at least on 3 sides (they are too close for 360). Then as the taller portions grow, just keep tucking and feeding in sog style.

hope we can find some reliable seeds then

I think I could get two in per summer easily...very intrigued, cause my climate is perfect and turns like a mother in the last month of flower, gets wet wet and the air is damp as hell and the big buds hate that damp air

gonna look into some seeds

I doubt mine is gonna have much punch to it...looks like it is gonna be that skinny CBD bud for sure...never seen a thick CBD bud yet

It depends where you live.vancouver area is mild and wet and they can grow anything.vancouver island can grow whatever they want .my area is more pines and desert and mid october it starts getting cold .most of our local outdoor strains are meant for the coast.we are 1000ft higher .we have to worry about them getting enough water.its 90 degrees all summer and rarely rains .most people only do indoor and outdoor is just for shits n giggles

Ya I was thinking of bending them away from each other(initially), now that will take some skillz

what are the cons of letting them go vertical?

I did a 12 footer once but took it down under helicopter surveillance so I never got the full experience.

thanks for the thread you guys are running...It motivated me to use a camera for the first time in many years

Oh I wasn't throwing oil on the fire...just the 2015 jars of smoke

what happened
My house is only on 1/3 an acre of land, so I'll start by saying it was a bad idea right off the bat. So I gather my material I'm going to burn at about 1am, light it on fire and keep blowing on it to make it as hot as possible. TheRe is limited breeze, so the smoke is going pretty much straight up in the air. I'm sure if neighbors were awake they'd smell it, similar to when someone is having a bbq, and think someone is smoking a lot of weed. Well all the sudden a breeze comes into the equation and is blowing directly at a house across the street from me. The house is higher in elevation than my house by about 20', plus it's 2 story, so I can see the second level pretty clearly from my backyard. The lights come on upstairs and then the curtains open. There was a crystal clear billow of smoke going irectly from my property (small, dense, cloud in a perfect straight line), to their house where it was about 20' wide as it was opening up. Had I not been drunk at the time I would have been scared as a motherfucker, but I had my liquid courage in me and was laughing as the guy was peering out his window. He couldn't see me just the source of the smoke. I stomped out the fire I had created, grabbed a broom and swept everything I could into the yard, and went back into my house. A cop car went slowly through my neighborhood a few times, but never knocked on my door (my lights were out from start to finish of the blaze). As they say, possession is 9/10 the law. When I woke up in the morning and thought about th previous night's events I was sick to my stomach. I walked out into my backyard and the smell was strong, similar to putting your nose up to a bowl that hasn't been cleaned in a long time. There was also a huge resin stain on my concrete patio (didn't want to set my yard on fire, so I lit everything up on my patio). Great story, horrible experience, would not recommend.

Do you have neighbors that can see into your yard? That would be my primary concern with going vert. Also checking for insects and/or mold on a regular basis won't be easy.
Is this an outdoor strain? If not, you may have full branches breaking off due to the weight if you don't support them with a net. I grew a monster ice plant outdoor one year and 3/4 of the way through flowering I'd get home and find a side branch laying at the base of the plant, and this was like every 3 days. The uppers had no problem supporting themselves, but the lowers just had too much stress from the weight and their angles. I felt like crying each time I'd find a branch on the ground. Long story short, net no later than 4 weeks into flowering if you are unsure about whether the plant can take the weight of outdoor.

good stuff

neighbors are not a worry...they all love me...and most smoke herb I reckon...plus it is legal

but I don't wanna lose too much flower to premature branch breakage

I need to SOG tomorrow really...but 2-3 97 degree days right after so I might not wanna stress the plant...and saturday is my only day off

If you're going to be doing a lot of crazy bending, let the soil dry out so they are nice and rubbery. Much more chance of breakage when the soil is wet. If you break stems, just tape them and they will self fuse and grow a knuckle.

I made a run to Patient Care First last night. Got a couple grams of some great shit. This is 710 Labs Live Rosin. I don’t typically mess with Rosin because it’s dirty and not dewaxed. Well this is some next level shit. It’s dewaxed live rosin. Burns clean with no residue. I also got some full spectrum sauce that is amazing.

good info!! i wasn't aware they were more flyable when dry. is it because the plant is less swelled with water?

anyone know the actual name of this roller? I always called it a box roller but I am pretty sure that is not its name.
