This looks excellent. Fuck do I love McConaughey since he shed all the sexy muscle man stuff and became a seriously incredible actor.
It does look pretty good, yeah.

Like was saying earlier, hopefully it will be a hit for MM. He was on a roll there for a while, but Interstellar was his last big hit and that was four years ago now. Since then he's made (not counting animated roles where he only did a voice): The Sea of Trees, Free State of Jones, Gold and The Dark Tower. All films that only got poor-to-middling responses from critics and audiences, and all films that didn't do particularly well financially.

Hopefully this will get him back on track, but I dunno, it just seems like a film that may not have a ton of mainstream appeal even though it looks kind of awesome.

I was worried about Dark Tower but I teallly enjoyed it.
He had me in floods with Dallas, I was so nervous about him winning that Oscar I passed out before I saw him be awarded with it.

Dark Tower was "okay." Not nearly as good as I was hoping, but not as bad as many people were saying either.

I never read the books, though. Maybe if I had I'd have been more pissed.

I've considered this, but he winds me up on Twitter even, so I don't think it'd be good for my health. He's mad as a box of frogs.
Dude, it's actually pretty damn interesting. I had heard of Roger Stone but knew relatively little about him.

His entire journey through politics--and life--is fascinating and it just goes to show how bizarre the world of politics really is.

I know he’s more than fanboyism, but his fanboyism of Trump as a supposed “advisor” the way he went off on one on Twitter discredited any opinion he ever had imo.

You'd just need to watch this film to see what he's all about.

He definitely has had a lot of influence on politics for decades. That much is undeniable. Frankly, if I were a politician I wouldn't want to get on his hit list because the dude is pure Machiavelli.

It's also pretty clear that he really did do a lot to shape the Trump campaign.

I like him for entertainment value and I'm hardly up on my politics, I just can't take him seriously when he can't engage his brain before saying the first thing that comes into his head.

Like I said, watch Get Me Roger Stone. It will explain a lot.

He's a smart guy and he has intentionally crafted a reputation as a "bad boy" within the world of politics. The guy is a manipulator so you always have to be asking, "What's the angle here?"

Dammit, I'll cave and give it a gander tomorrow.

Pretty cool that Twitter decided it didn't like your previous account but then suggested another one of yours for me to follow though. Ha.
