Chad was finished in round 2. Conor clearly let Chad take him down bc he knew Chad would gas.
Mind-blowing that more people don't understand this.
That was said many times and i think ppl get it, it’s just more of a different story if Khabib takes u down.
I also think Conor’s left is as a big factor, cuz it’ll be a different story if Conor hits u with the left

Chad was a late replacement so Conor didn't really prepare for that fight. He is fully focused and preparing for Khabib so I think this fight could be different. I think the key for Conor is to stay at range and not get pinned against the cage. He needs his bicycle and lateral movement to be on point in order to keep it standing and striking.
Khabib just wants to grab on somewhere and work from there. Conor should have some good elbows prepared also for the in-fighting.
Mendes did not have a full camp, iirc ?

He did not, which is why Conor allowed him to spam takedowns. He knew T-rex arms would eventually gas out.
