A good example of Hume's Law is watching people defend the last few seasons of this show.

"This is how the books will end", "The writers needed to wrap up the show", "The show has always tried to subvert expectations".

Any of these types of statements have nothing to do with the actual quality of the end result - which is all that matters. Yet the dipshits uttering them don't understand the difference.

Season 4. A few elements of some storylines make it to season 5

@Lars thinks A Storm of Swords is the best one. I think the best book is A Dance with Dragons. We both agree that A Feast for Crows is dog shit.
