Last episode was disappointing. That time cut they made from Jon Snow in prison, to him walking out to stand in front of student council was so jarring. The whole show is predicated on lineal claims to the throne and people’s quest to rule, and it ends up in a light jovial roundtable discussion of “Oh shit! We don’t have a king. I don’t want to be king, well soneone’s got to be king. Do you want to be king?”

Then they end up giving it to some fucking pussy who ended up in a wheelchair because he got so freaked out by a dude porking his sister that he jumped out a window.

The stab scene was cut so badly.

Kiss.
Surprise stab, who got stabbed???
Immediate cut to her dead on ground.
Immediate cut to zoomed out view with knife.

No suspense. No impactful shot. Hide the knife, the betrayal, just jump to silent death.

The dragon scene was awful too. Out of nowhere they give the dragon deep human emotion. The dragon understood what the quest for the throne had cost his owner, and what the quest for power brings out in men and their inhumanity to one another so he makes a statement by melting the throne. He yells at Jon for a bit for killing his mother, but he understands that he did it for the good of the realm, and he flies away. I'm surprised there was no close up of a single tear streaming down the dragon's cheek.

You may be reading a bit to much into that. I assume that Drogon didn’t kill Jon because he was also a Targaryen.

The other thing I don't get was the whole Unsullied demanding justice for Jon. I really expected him to have to reveal to them that he was the rightful heir to save himself. Instead they just had a trial (which they didn't show) where the Unsullied decided that instead of executing him, they were fine with house arrest with the probation condition that he promises that he won't ever have sex again.
Then they sail away trusting that Jon is going to stay up north with no way of them knowing if he does or not. For all they know Jon lays low for a bit, then comes back and takes the throne. There is no way they don't kill him.

Good point I thought about that, but I assumed that the Dragon would just serve Jon because he was the true king. I guess the dragon was loyal to Danaerys because she raised it.

He would beat all the Unsullied by himself

Jon should've ended up on the throne. It's his by birthright.

If that's not what fat fuck GRRM wanted, whatever. If he ever finishes writing the books then I'm sure it will at least make more sense than whatever the fuck I've been watching the last 6 weeks.

These guys started slaughtering everyone in King's Landing because they took Danaery's firebombing as a sign that she wanted them to destroy all her enemies, then they don't think Danaery's wouldn't want them to kill the person who killed her?

My wife and I got the same thing as Sex Chicken @Sex Chicken
Great, the dragon is suddenly totally sentient and acting as a divine arbiter of man's greed.

We were raging at the TV

Little bitch cried more than a newborn.

For a dude that consistently boasts, at every available opportunity, that he is 6'4", and blabbers on about how men below 6 feet are second class, you sure do seem to have an unexplainable fetish for this emo dwarf.

No matter how much that miniature manlet cried and complained, this scene was fucking badass.
