You know nothing about med school and what they teach. Population control? Millions upon millions dare I say billions of people receive vaccines and are perfectly fine. I’m sorry about whatever you think happened to your daughter but the evidence is overwhelming vaccines are safe and effective. Study after study supports this. Even in nutty California they are probably going to remove exemptions out of the Dr.’s hands because there are too many. I happen to agree with that if it leads to more vaccinations. The parents have relationships with their Dr.’s and talk them into exemptions. Now the state wants to be in charge of that. There will be a lot less exemptions.

What you have no idea about is big pharma. It’s actually getting harder and harder for Dr.’s to get drugs/samples from them now. Some patients can’t afford their meds. Docs in the past would treat them with samples. Those days are getting few and far. The medical community doesn’t work anything like this silly fairy tale you have concocted in your head because of your personal situation. Dr.’s save lives every day and most in fact everyone I know deeply cares about their patients well being.

I believe in the concept of vaccines. My kids are up to date on all their required vaccines and so am I.

I believe that doctors are smarter than me, and are smarter than the majority of people. But I also believe the people have a right to any information out there.

I believe the benefits outweigh the risks in most cases.

Dr.’s work on what’s called centers. Time for each patient. A few patients take up most of their visit time allotted discussing nutty theories they read on the internet. They actually end up losing time for their treatment and make the entire office run late because they read some single mothers FB rant based on kaka. Next time you are pissed off in a waiting room don’t blame your Dr. Blame all the patients who want to discuss idiotic theories which they don’t even understand that are time suckers. This happens almost every day.

She has reached a point if they keep going on she will engage them while also telling them how much time they have for their visit before she needs to move on. Sometimes they come in for 3-4 things and she addresses 2 of them and makes them reschedule. She tells them flat out why. They either take the hint and let her do her job or they go somewhere else. Either way a win. She will only go off center if she finds something or a procedure takes longer. She will not go off center discussing the internet any more. As you brilliantly pointed out it’s nothing but a complete circle jerk. They also come in with printed papers. I have to say she has figured out ways to combat all of this. She puts the papers down and tells them she will read them later but lets treat this now. As soon as they leave into the garbage they go. She also tells them when they are completely wrong “well the internet didn’t get you well and you’re here to see me today”

You are making a lot of assumptions here. I do care or I wouldn't be wasting my time on it. And you did teach me some things about the Gardasil vaccine and how I was processing and understanding some of the data I was was reading. I thought I thanked you for that. If I didn't then know I read what you wrote, listened, and appreciated it.

My son got the first of the series of the HPV vaccine. He didn't finish it because of a bad reaction, not because of what I had read (and shared) here.

Just because I post an article here doesn't mean that I 100% believe it. Sometimes I want someone to prove it wrong for my piece of mind.
