Check this out. Theme song being performed by 4 legendary guitarists along with Ramin Djawadi & Dan Weiss.

From right to left you have...
  • Ramin Djawadi is the composer of the original score.
  • Scott Ian - Anthrax.
  • Tom Morello - Rage Against the Machine
  • Nuno Bettencourt - Extreme, solo artist
  • Brad Paisley - country singer
  • Dan Weiss is sitting on the far left. He is the co-creator of the series.
I set the video to start at 2:00 because at the beginning is just a lot of doodling around while they try to figure out what they are going to do.

Other than Ian who keeps the rhythm throughout, they each take a mini-solo.
  • 3:32 Ramin's solo starts off pretty solid, but falls a part a bit. At 4:05 you can see Morello looking at him like "You about done, dude"
  • 4:07 Morello put his voice on it. His sound is so unique.
  • 4:40 is Nuno's turn. Largely known in the guitar community as one of the better shredders out there.
  • 5:13 Brad Paisley melts everyone's face off.
  • 5:48 is Dan Weiss. Co-creator of the series. He's quite good on guitar.
I knew Brad Paisley was phenomenal on guitar, but I still think I was selling him a bit short. Dude can absolutely shred.

Even Nuno was like "Holy shit, dude" after he got done. So impressive.

One of the comments to the video summed it up perfectly:
(paraphrasing because I don't feel like looking for it again)

"Paisley is like a 5' white kid that drops in on a NY street basketball game and starts raining 3's from everywhere"

I could probably play his part, and that would be so incredible to be holding down the rhythm while those guys got after it.
