The dolphin had me laughing hard.
lol was he going to ejaculate enough to cover all those buildings that would have been pretty funny but I concur that it doesn't add anything to the story.
the timing was great.the slow motion as it flew out the window and the dolphin made eye contact with the deep lol before hitting the ground.
Good show.
Just finished episode 1 and Halfway thru 2.
The concept wasn't what I thought it was.
But I was still pleasantly surprised.
The effects are top notch.
As well as the acting.
Been a fan of Carl Urban since Doom.
He should be in more Leading Man Action films and shows imo.

I haven't seen many of the new super hero series but this one was really great, at first I thought it was Karl Urban in the lead role but after hearing his accent I realised it wasn't him just a similar looking guy. Turns out it's him 
I think the vulnerability was so useful they bred it into all their super heroes. To create a modern day superman that ability is basically mandatory, eye lasers, flying, x-ray vision and invulnerability, though it looks like they neglected to give him super speed too. I guess A-Train was their test subject for that ability (and that guy he races) so they couldn't give it to Homelander.
Starlight takes a sniper round dead centre of her chest and it just knocks her over, and pretty sure I remember a scene where Queen Maeve also gets shot and just shrugs it off. A-Train runs into a woman at high speed and obliterates her but takes no damage himself etc I'd be surprised if all the active heroes don't have some form of invulnerability otherwise anyone could kill them. The core of the plot is how hard it is to kill a super hero, until they shove that bomb up Translucent's bung.
I had to stop watching this half way through, so many potential spoilers haha

iirc they pushed it back 3 months it should have been out in july but covid strikes again. pretty bad timing to not have any amazon shows since hbo max took a lot of their shows.
