I believe there's Cocoa Beach somewhere.

You're in Orlando, right? Do you go the gulf side when you take a trip to the coast?
We’re in East Orlando so typically we head east to Playalinda since it’s only a 45 min drive and it’s quiet. Mom has a house near Sarasota so we sometimes head that way but that’s a good two hours from us.

Cocoa beach is amusing for a minute but most of these east coast beach towns are run down these days (Daytona is an absolute shit hole IMO) so I do prefer hanging on the west coast when I can.

Mine is Eureka, fuck. It probably takes longer. I was blown away by the lemony smell of the leaves though.

When your tree produces new leaves, do they sometimes droop? I thought something was wrong with my tree but then I checked it later and the leaves were erect again.

New leaves are usually brighter and softer so they’ll droop a bit until they gain some stiffness. Some happens with our mango tree but the leaves on that one start darker when they’re fresh. They sag like they’re dying until it pumps enough liquid and energy into them.

Your plant looks good. It just needs to fill out a bit and could use a bigger pot soon. We have ours in an 18” pot for the past few years and that seems to be enough for long term care.

This sounds like good news, hopefully now I can fly home.... Damn, @Bones Nose you called that evil on the Carolina's, now @SC MMA MD may be in for a rough time.
I am actually down in Charleston for a meeting, and just saw the change in the tract. My prediction- it continues the northeast/east turn and it does not make landfall on the continental US at all.
I live in northwestern SC, so unless it makes a beeline up I-26, it should not be a significant factor for me personally.
