So here's the problem. My son made it to the regional level pinewood derby race in a couple of weeks. I really hope they postpone it so we don't actually have to miss it if things get worse around here. I heard a couple of school bus drivers tested positive, not too far away.

Great.
This whole thing is shameful beyond words.
My daughter's school finally closed today, 9 f***** days after I scolded the college president.
They don't get funding unless "health district guidelines" concur.
I pulled her out anyway, and had her quit her job after the owner refused to implement common sense ppe for employees.

Governor just sent out statewide guidelines(finally) for adult care facilities.
Jay Inslee was running for President early.
There's a dumbass I'd like to kick in the face.

Could you link me? This would be highly unusual.
communicable diseases have a pretty standard reporting process and it doesn't benefit the hospital to keep it private. Once it hits higher up I could see officials not letting the numbers out in real time but that doesn't benefit the hospitals at all to sit on it

My friend works at kaiser she answers call from kaiser patients to fill their medications she been dealing with issuing meds to those at Travis so word leaked to her that this was going on
It could be bullshit but I’m inclined to believe her atm she also had received a call from cdc last week or so and they demanded medication for the first batch of quarantined people at travis

The integrated nature of Kaiser running everything as a veritable monopoly could change that math I guess. Still, it's likely Kaiser system heads, not the hospitals themselves sitting on it, if true. Hospital probably runs up and then I guess admin could not be releasing to governing bodies. But man, even then the hospitals only real benefit is to not leak to news for stigma or whatever. But that doesn't happen when you report to CDC. They don't have to report exactly which hospital to the public.

Just chills yesterday. No fever though. Cough is gone, don't know if the gargled mouthwash is keeping it at bay or it's gone for good. Sneezed about 8 times today.

I'm being bombarded with coranavirus covid 19 stuff so I'm going to try to make a conscious effort to avoid discussion. Besides the memes to me it's more negative than positive. It feels like people focus more on the worst possibility instead of probability. Peace and love to all. I'll still be bugging ya'll on other topics/threads though :)

For the states, target.com still has tp. I have enough to stay home for a few weeks, not enough if tp production is going to stop (t-pocalypse).

Man this sucks.
I spent $1000 on front row tickets for mom's birthday. She cried when I told her and said "I've always wanted to go!"

Most Ohio colleges have suspended classes.

University of Dayton suspended in person classes through March and will instead implement online classes starting in April. These changes are an attempt to adhere to the social best practices of avoiding large crowds to help prevent the spread of the virus.

From the file of "Who didn't see that coming?", UD erupted into a huge party with thousands of students celebrating the suspension of classes, many waving Corona Extra beer flags. Riot police were called after the parties got out of hand.

Fun times for a Tuesday night. Haha.
