We cannot rely on the CDC. This is what they're here for and are not even home right now. It's not surprising however.

Same. I just got back.
Went to Kroger, grabbed a little cart as I just needed a few things. Parking lot was crowded but I figured I'd see how bad it was inside. People were lined up at the checkout counters 20 deep.

Me:


I refuse to participate in the madness. I'll try again at midnight when all these idiots are sleeping with their 34 packs of toilet paper.

I did it, I won't be back for a month. I didn't go too crazy, we typically have a lot on hand anyways. We could probably be good for 3ish months.

I even had to buy organic 1% milk, because that's all that was left and I sure as fuck am not dipping my cookies in water.

Farmers markets over here are trying to drum up business while everybody goes nuts at the big box stores.
Pricier but quality food.
