This Coronavirus disease is not as deadly as has been proffered early on with SARS-like references of 10% death rates, which came from China not knowing wtf this new thing was and limited testing. It's not 50x as contagious. But it isn't the same as seasonal flu. It looks like Pandemic flu, which is deadlier but not world ending. S Korea and others have shown that you can test a bunch and get the death rate down. You should be concerned that we still aren't testing.
Wash your nasty hands and stay home to not spread this stuff faster. It's actually pretty easy to flip from Italy (15x flu death) to S Korea (1-2x flu death). But it appears testing needs to be part of that strategy to maintain a modern western country and we still aren't testing at a large enough scale to respond. If you don't test, you have to assume.
