Don't know about stateside, but for me unemployment would be about 40% of my usual wage. Nowhere near enough to keep the proverbial trains running. They should be asking everyone who's out of work what this is costing them, and pay them that.

and it is very complicated for self employed people who are forced to not work
you can spend 8 hours on the phone and not even get thru to them in Oregon
they went from like 10,000 claims to hundreds of thousands overnight and still have the same staff
So it really isn't that easy...just giving you the information on how it works here

I believe the stimulus package have additional money that’s added to those numbers. That’s why I read it’s $600 in Cali now.
