Canada takes about 250,000 immigrants a year from around the world. As a citizen would you be fine if they decided to add an additional 200,000 a year from only Africa,and South America?

Sure. We have lots of space. We bring em in to do our service jobs on temp foreign worker programs, why not make them citizens.


As long as they are willing to relocate to an area in need of workers, I say bring em in. Canada has over 300,000 unfilled jobs currently.

Why do you get to pick where they go?

They are usually temporary positions in that the contract just has to be resigned and isnt open-ended.

The TFW program requires employers to prove they took all available avenues to hire a Canadian citizen for the position before they can farm it out to a TFW.
