We had a marine drill instructor when I was in basic. For paradeground training. It was awesome when we fucked everything up and he lost it. our other instructor should have been a stand up comedian.
Now I think about it it's probably his fault we fucked everything up

Same. I had to try and sleep under the ramp while those cunts took off. We were there to get jr pilots thier quals for landing on the carrier at night. Our commander had recently left so our XO, a pilot himself, was in charge.... Well he's the kinda person I hang out with.
After the pilots finished thier bullshit training he took them to the officers mess and got them shitfaced. During the session an alarm went out because the ship hit ground or something and it was action stations. Well our dear leader decided the harriers needed to leave and ordered all the drunk pilots to the flight deck. So off they went in flight suits and flip flops. A female jr rank on deck patrol wouldn't let them on and apparently caught some nasty words from them.
They had to apologise the next day, iirc they got her some biscuits.
While all this was happening I remember being in the mess thinking wtf the boat is sinking now? We weren't classed as ships company so we diddnt have to play all those silly games they like, so had no idea what was going on.
Next day when we heard about Kano and the pilots trying to fly off I almost died. Fkn dummies
