Papi Chingon @Papi Chingon lost his fridge and his food recently, made a thread this morning about it

Pick a good one bro, I always go in and check em out then go home and do research on the ones I like

Maybe you will find the perfect stove for your cooking style and it will be a blessing in disguise?
I saw that. Sucks when you lose your food, happened with a deep freezer once.

I accused my wife of breaking it on purpose. She was cleaning it and soaked the control panel too much and shorted it out, but she wanted a new on anyway, lol.

That is the prettiest bloody mary I've ever seen, home or abroad.
wow thanks!
I'm not a great bartender, but I am good at the few things I know. My guests are well hosted! This is all practice so when I have people over I can just crank out the party drinks for a hot summer day.

Curious as to all the options of oils to deep-fry stuff in ??
peanut, canola, or vegetable

I use peanut for frying chicken.

I cook most non-fried with avocado oil if I need a higher smoke point. Olive oil if not.

Could be. A big mason jar would have been better but mine are tiny. That is a 20oz glass. So it's a normal size drink probably shrunk by perspective.

that.
was kidding about the bloody mary
really over the top and cool
a piece of art

We had some left over Buttermilk from the fried chicken.... So I guess that means we have to have Buttermilk sourdough chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast tomorrow. It'll be terrible I'm sure.

Tomorrow I'll be doing a rotisserie boneless pork shoulder on the bbq.
The roast is marinating in brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt n pepper, olive oil and rice vinegar.
Be on the rotisserie for 2.5-3 hours. This will be prepared for tacos with a mango salsa with mango, jalapenos, red bell pepper, bbq corn on the cob (seasoned with salt n pepper, paprika, butter, lime and cut off the cob) cilantro and juice from 2 limes.

Not sure what's going on today food wise. Husband bought some pre marinated carne asada and I have everything to do tacos but "pre marinated" is cheating in this house.

Still gutted I can't buy buckwheat flour. I have soba noodles but I really wanted to get the pasta attachment out on the Kitchenaid and show off a bit.

Rice, tosino, pickled papaya, tomato red onion mozzarella cheddar 3 egg omelette.

Looks tasty as :)

Once my facemask is out of the dryer I'm going out for eggs. I haven't made fresh pasta in forever, I have doppio flour and making bechamel sauce is cathartic. So lasagne Sunday.

Mrs. ThatOneDude and I are getting fairly OK at this whole bagel thing. We are getting them nice and fluffy, they brown up the rest of the way in the toaster. It's perfect.
