I am having this similar problem except pretend they lied to you about how many people were at their party, that they wore masks the whole time, and how close they got to the visitors.Yea, we are dealing with something similar. My inlaws are having a 4th of july party at their house and then they wanted to come out and see their grandson. We told them they are going to have to wait 2 weeks before they come out, they don't really get it.
I didn't actually get openly angry - I didn't even call them out for lying. There was no point in continuing the conversation at that moment and letting them argue with me. I knew my husband would know they were lying because it was too obvious.I would preemptively say, "I'm sorry that we got so upset about you asking to visit at a time like this. Maybe we can meet at a park (or outside venue) soon so that we can see each other. But in the meantime we can FaceTime or Skype whenever you want!"
Lol
Welllllllllllllllllllll, they do keep saying we don't think many people will show up.I am having this similar problem except pretend they lied to you about how many people were at their party, that they wore masks the whole time, and how close they got to the visitors.
Lol this is why we don't have live sports, guys.

What do the death and testing rates look like comparatively? Both California and Texas with over 5,000 new cases today.
For reference, New York's daily peak was 11,661 on April 15.
What do the death and testing rates look like comparatively?
Stop being lazyWhat do the death and testing rates look like comparatively?
I'd wager that death rate is low and testing rate is high. One is OK. The other is really bad.
I'd wager that death rate is low and testing rate is high.
That doesn't show current testing capacity. Wait, Texas has 76 deaths per million people?Stop being lazy

You asked for death and testing rates. The link shows both. That doesn't show current testing capacity. Wait, Texas has 76 deaths per million people?
I meant the amount of tests currently being done. I apologize for not communicating that more clearly. You asked for death and testing rates. The link shows both.
Yes, Texas is so spread out all counties aren't effected equally. My father is tracking our county's stats and we average 2.5 cases per 1000 people. That doesn't show current testing capacity. Wait, Texas has 76 deaths per million people?
Harris County and Dallas County with over a third of all cases. I'm guessing those are the two most populated counties?Yes, Texas is so spread out all counties aren't effected equally. My father is tracking our county's stats and we average 2.5 cases per 1000 people.
We have had no new deaths in 12 days.
2.51% of our active cases are hospitalized.
Dallas on the other hand is a shit show.
It could be worse. You could live in Los Angeles County, CA and have more cases in your county than 41 states lolThat would be correct. The county I live in is the 8th most populated county in Texas. I wish we were much further down on the list.

Ugh, could you imagine living in a place where people just shit in the middle of the road like it's Iraq or something? It could be worse. You could live in Los Angeles County, CA and have more cases in your county than 41 states lol
Look like about 1 test out of 10 is positive. Doesn't seem terrible.
The test days and reporting of new cases never line up. Tests take up to two weeks to be reported to the state.Look like about 1 test out of 10 is positive. Doesn't seem terrible.
Does the confirmed cases correlate with hospitalizations? The test days and reporting of new cases never line up. Tests take up to two weeks to be reported to the state.
That being said, some days we are reporting as many tests as we did a month ago and the percentage of positive tests is between 4-14% higher than it was a month ago. So similar number of tests reported but 10-17% positive instead of 3-6% positive.
That is absolutely terrible.
If that article tells me to, I guess I have no choice. So are you going to get the vaccine?
