County commissioners said most people who emailed and called their offices supported their mask efforts, but an angry and vocal crowd accused them Tuesday of trying to regulate fresh air and limit individual freedoms. One woman hollered “Trump 2020″ at them.

I had a new patient today. The spouse refused to wear a mask in the waiting room and then became belligerent flipping off my receptionist. Patient was mortified and asked to go calm down spouse. That worked and spouse left. I can't imagine the shame of the poor patient dealing with that.

@Splinty what's your take on when we could possibly see a vaccine? Everything I've read is all over the place, from "by the end of the year or early 2020" to "years away" to "we have a working vaccine but it's useless against the elderly"
It's tough wading through the amount of information out there and trying to decide what holds weight.

Dunno.
All I know is I don't expect to see anything at the mass scale for the average person before the 2020-2021 flu season starts tapering here.
And with that things are going to be very hard this fall.

No guarantee it will be effective enough to end anything.

Things are gonna get heavy when the flu starts to flare up.
Can't say I envy you. Not sure I could ever manage in your field.

Flipping out in an medical office is a very fucked up to do

In offices in this state I think only the patient goes in, nobody else unless it is a parent and their younger kid
Not sure if that is Board required stuff or just what they decided to do.
