Maybe it's not for you. Maybe it isn't for people in poorer areas who don't have transportation, or lost their jobs and can't get around, or are immune compromised, or are quarantined due to the pandemic, or a number of other reason why it may be difficult for someone to get there to vote. Just because someone isn't able to get to the poll doesn't mean their vote is any less important.
What about someone that thinks registration is to hard? Does their vote count? Should they be able to show up without ID or just mail in a vote?

Are you serious?
70% of socialists (city folk) live blocks from ballot stations.
If they have to walk, and don't have the energy, they can take their food stamps to the grocery store which is about us far as a ballot Box, buy a candy bar with free government food stamps to give them the energy to get the extra block to the ballot station.

Does it strike anyone as odd that only democrats are protesting mail-in ballots?
Is there not a long long long long history of ballot fraud amongst the mail in voters?

Duh

Is there?
How much?
Why are mail in ballots validated differently than in person ballots?
They are not, if they are received!

How many hundreds of stories are there where ballots are tossed out from Post Office in red areas?
Is this news?

You've Got more stolen mail now than any time in the history of the US postal service.
This is a no brainer.

Why not allow everyone to vote via mail-in like the President does?
He requested ballots . Didn’t just have one show up at his door. Do you think a family of 5 adults should receive 5 ballots in their mail whether registered or not?

So it's mostly Democrats and socialist that want to vote by mail and you're worried that all those Democrat votes will get stolen and not counted?

This is an unexpected and surprising advocating for their representation.

I specifically said red areas.

That sounds wonderful to me.

Getting around work and missing registration cut offs after moving has messed me up for two elections that I really wanted to participate in.

It would be awesome if as existing tax paying citizens my wife and I could participate in the electoral process so easily.

Not completely off topic
But I can’t be the only person that thinks it’s funny that Democrats think poor can’t get a ID to vote with
But suddenly think every household has WiFi and the ability to have their kids learn at home.

Would a family of 5 adults that did not register receive 5 ballots? Every place I have read about voting by mail must register to receive ballots.

Let's not act like voting in person is foolproof as just one example... hanging chads.

We will see
Should a person have to register is really my question? What if someone says that’s to hard for them?

The ONLY way democrats win tight elections is fraud.
They have Donald Duck voting.
They have illegals voting.
They want 16-year olds voting.
Pretty much everyone that's stupid enough to believe a socialist government would give them a better life than the America that gave them the ability to even express themselves, or have an opportunity of wealth creation that is unparalled on planet earth for the last 100 years.

I don't see why I should have to request a mail in. Shouldn't just be simple too put in your precinct and download a form to fill out?. Feel free to educate me. I have only done a mail in ballot once I'm hardly an expert on the situation. What I will say is that our current voting system is old and antiquated and sucks regardless.

I exist and I'm a citizen and voting is an inherent right of everyone. So why exactly are there so many steps that I can't just show up to vote on election day? Other rights are ordained by my existing only. So outside of technical validating, There shouldn't be any steps. And those pragmatic required steps should be minimal and getting better all the time as we get better technology.

I think that registration should be automatic for all the above reasons. Again I'm not totally sure why I have some cut off ahead of time when I can show up and prove my identity and still can't do same-day registration/voting. What exactly occurs in that registration process that technology or otherwise couldn't solve with me standing there holding two forms ID. That is, what's preventing instant registration? Pure laziness and intentional barriers in my opinion.

Regardless, skipping all of that. I wasn't talking about changing anything other than capacity. Mail in ballots are a thing with an existing process and an unprecedentedly high number of them are expected to go around. The system should be preparing for that higher than usual number and flexing increased capacity, and that means funding, from the federal government to provide that capacity.
A right delayed is a right denied.

If they are a citizen their votes counts.
Do you think you should have to register your firearms? Or register yourself to own a firearm? Do you think you should register to use your free speech?

They don't, there is a big issue in the poorer areas of Texas where kids don't have internet at home....
