I originally set it at $25 but pulled it when all the futures were red this morning.

If Biden does well tomorrow I'm probably exiting the market completely. If the GOP maintains control in the Senate I'll buy back in a little, but if it's Biden and a Dem-controlled Senate - I'm out for 4 years, unless there is a huge drop where buying opportunities are everywhere.

Biden & Dem-controlled Senate = zero growth.

I'm not suggesting to buy in at these levels - it's already had a hell of a run so there's no telling what it will do from here. But when it was sub $5 it was a no-brainer. Closed at $74.07 today.

Lumber market finally hit the top. Now the question is how fast and how far it falls. Still at record levels, so mills should still be making bank.

RFP has Q3 earnings on Oct 29.

I don't know how they don't crush previous quarters. July, August & September were all well above typical lumber pricing. Historic levels.

Sitting at $5 right now, which was at the lower range of my target when I bought in.

But I'm greedy. Let it ride!

I am fine with more stimulus...but not if it involves bailing out these states that are locking down for no reason and self sabotaging themselves by going further in debt...2.4 billion for these states is stupid

The last stimulus package actually cost each citizen around 30,000+ in the long term and they got 1200 back lol

I completely agree with you the people who can't work are getting fucked right now...although some won't work and are enjoying unemployment and stimulus.

We are creating a massive welfare state right now and that isn't a good thing for the future of the country.

I can't speak for all states but the west coast is a mess and millions are milking the system in various ways...milking it Haaard.

Lumber market is still on fire.

Mills are making BANK right now and they are firmly in control of the market, which has printed up 17 weeks in a row.

A carload that was $46k in April is now getting $86.5k

RFP just had an earnings report where they had a double beat, but that would have covered Q2 sales. This shit didn't really kick in for Canadian wood until June, so their Q3 results should be 3 months of killing it through July, August and September - assuming this run continues.

When I bought in at around $1.50 I had $5 as a target. I'm still there, but I'd love to see it go higher.

Note - i did already sell off my initial investment when I went up 100%. House money from here on out so it doesn't feel as risky for me to wait and see what happens.

But who fucking knows what it will do? It's basically gambling.

AMC getting SMOKED today. Down 15% to $3 - close to its Covid collapse level where it rebounded to $6+ for an easy double-up.

Added to watchlist. It should eventually return to $15 for a nice 500% gain.

Unless you believe people wil NEVER go to movies again.
