Not sure why people keep saying or suggesting this.

In Florida at least, if you vote by mail and then change your mind, you can go in-person on election day and vote. When you sign in at your polling station, they will see that you were sent a mail ballot and ask you if you want it canceled and your in-person vote counted.

So if I change my mind between now and election day about my vote, I could in theory change it on election day.
That seems entirely reasonable.
We are voting Friday.

Georgia had a rough primary. They probably care because they think if they wait until election day, they may not be able to cast their vote. This way they at least have a second chance if something goes wrong.
Maybe.
Or maybe everyone is just reacting to the "VOTE EARLY!" screams that are out there. I find it odd. And interesting.

I don't care one way or the other, but 6 hour lines that wrap around the block? It's good that people care that much I guess. Maybe this year we'll have more than 56% turnout.

Long ass lines are par for the course around here. Are they not for you?

No. I get there right when they open. Typically in and out in 20 minutes or less.
Some of us have to work sir, we don't have the luxury of waiting outside for 3 days like its the new iphone on sale.

Haha. I go at 7 AM and just get to work a little later than normal.

Company allows it if you are a registered Republican.

LOL @ the voters in Georgia standing in lines for 8 hours so they can vote early.

Why not just vote in November when it takes about 20 minutes if you get there right when it opens?

Dumbasses.
I like the pictures. "Look at how long these lines are!" Weird that spacing people 6 feet apart would make a line longer than normal.

9 days since ballots were sent out by California and still yet to receive mine. No voting info at all sent to me.

We have county websites we can look all that up on, does the Communist Country of California not have that?
