There is a certain distance or no distance at all depending on the state
I expect Trump to edge out Texas this go around but it'll be a resounding wake up to the purple state stat.
Riots across the country for a dead methhead had nothing to do with itTrump has just galvanized turnout for people that would normally consider sitting the election out as a red state.
Correct.Riots across the country for a dead methhead had nothing to do with it
Just trump galvanizing
Among women, who were a significant move from Obama to Trump, they represent the largest shift back away from Trump -- pretty much universally across demographics and especially in the suburbs that have high voter turn out.

The recording starts partway through Trump telling a story about hitting on an unidentified woman — unsuccessfully. “I did try and fuck her,” Trump said. “She was married. I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. … I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there and she was married.”
Then, Trump said, he saw her again: “Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything.”
Moments later, Trump notices Arianne Zucker, the soap opera actress who would later escort him and Bush to the set. Bush calls her “hot as shit.” Trump jokes that he should “use some Tic Tacs” in case he starts kissing her.
“I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait,” Trump said. “When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.”
Yes losing Texas would kill any reasonable path to victory. I don't think it'll happen. His push on fracking is a good one to win the state and also simultaneously get traction in PA. Still, polls are stable right now against him with blue wall coronavirus hospitalizations on the rise (a top two issue everywhere). At this time Hillary Clinton polls were cratering. If Trump actually has fucked up to the point that he loses Texas... That's it, right? Over and done if he loses it, Cali, NY, and the rest of the NE ?
He needs Florida. He might get it.Yes losing Texas would kill any reasonable path to victory. I don't think it'll happen. If Trump loses, and especially if Trump loses where he shouldn't like Texas, it'll be the end of MAGA inside the GOP that accepts Trumps antithetical positions only as far as it wins elections.

I expect Biden wins, Biden dies or retires after one term, Kamala tries to run and loses, we get a GOP president in 2024. The string here would result in a significant questioning of what Trump and Kamala represent inside of their respective parties.
you beat me to it.He needs Florida. He might get it.
He'll lose Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. That is how he loses the election.
Communism sucks.buy the communism fear of the 50s and after
I was thinking of them as going red but you have me wondering how Covid is playing with all of the old ass people that have retired to Florida. He needs Florida. He might get it.
Communism sucks.
Covid isn't as bad here as it was in the summer. More Republicans have voted early, but more Democrats have have voted by mail.I was thinking of them as going red but you have me wondering how Covid is playing with all of the old ass people that have retired to Florida.
