well done action similiar to John wick+the raid+rambo 4.

chris Hemsworth is very believable as some spec ops mercenary. I like the shots of india in this film it is an original location you dont see a lot in this type of film.

this actress is also nice
So why only 7.5?

Super Troopers 2
A documentary about a small Canadian town who finds out they are actually in American territory and the transition to becoming Americans. We also find out the out going Canadian mayor is corrupt. Great story telling.

Just watched Tread on Nefflix..

Pretty good. Didn't necessarily like how dramatic they made parts of it. But good little documentary.

the sound on that is amazing.

anyone that is interested in sound editing should use that as a template.

its truly ridiculous.
I caught a few things early on then once you realize what's going on with the sound it makes the movie.

It’s basically everything.

from the title sequence.

those beautiful wipes of titles at the start. It’s literally a sound edit wank. So clever.

do yourself a favour and watched SPACED on Neftix.

honestly it’s probably the best off the wall sit com you will ever see. Edgars first foray. You will not be dissatisfied.

Pacific Rim
A documentary from the future sent back in time to warn us about 2020. We haven't seen anything yet.

I was unable to finish the movie due to fear so I can not accurately rate it.

The Bourne Supremacy 8/10
Just as good as the first. The car chase scenes are ridiculous.

Starting The Ultimatum right now

Done by the same guy that did Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief and Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine, this documentary goes behind the scenes of the USA pandemic response in 2020.

Watched the new Borat movie last night. It was fine 6.75/10.
I'd call it a 6/10.

40 minutes in and I couldn't wait for it to be over. Had some really good laughs, but they were few and far between. It also felt a lot more like I was watching a movie where the acting was on par with 90's porn rather than actual people having their reactions caught on tape.

Did a double feature last night

Romancing the Stone
Michael Douglas, Kathlene Turner, Danny Devito

Solid 8/10
Kathlene Turner was still a female back then and was looking pretty good. Movie was a good mix of action/comedy and wasn't too heavy on the romantic bullshit. Trivia: Super hot chick in opening scene while they played out one of Joan Wilder's novels was Playmate Kymberly Herrin. She was also the hot as balls ghost that gave Akroyd a hummer in Ghostbusters and one of the girls in ZZ Top's video "Legs"

Jewel of the Nile
Michael Douglas, Kathlene Turner, Danny Devito

2/10
A giant steaming pile of shit. Douglas and Turner must have fucked in real life because they lost the chemistry from the first film. Plus they tossed in a bunch of goofy 80s shit like African tribal folks having weird, hip sunglasses and boomboxes. A preposterous plot that isn't worth going into, and a ridiculous scene with Douglas driving a jet fighter around an African town and blowing shit up like "Space Invaders". Easily one of the worst fucking movies I've ever almost made it all the way through. Only bonus: There is a dance scene where the African tribe women are all topless. A couple of them had nice racks and I'm pretty sure it's the earliest version of twerking I've ever seen on film.
