People are under a spell. It's too much fun to be part of a team, something bigger. You know the truth! Some of this is narcissistic assholes living out a bizarre fantasy that is actually harming others. A great majority are just people using their regular bullshit meters in a world where bullshit meters don't work (ie echo chamber of social media). They are all going through their own grief stages right now with many still in denial stage. It's easy to hold that when influencers are constantly pushing disinformation to comfort you and make money off of your clicks.
I can remember a certain yacht commanding doctor clutching his pearls about how dangerous this whole situation was. Turns out that wasn't true either.

"If there isn't a civil war that means it isn't dangerous... No biggie."
Not having a civil war would be great, unfortunately I think we are still slowly marching towards one.

BRB, gotta go make more ammo.

This has been addressed about 10 times in this thread.
Beyond their implication that is just there to make you angry and distrustful (you're being played homie) they state that counting votes after polls close is illegal. That one you can look up in 5 seconds to see if false. Doesn't it piss you off to be played?
at my age, I've seen a lot of voting bullshit over the years from BOTH sides

It pissed me off when I was in my 30's, now not so much
At some point or another, we've all been played.

This FAKE "piss me off" thing gets old, it's like the WWE

At least nowadays people can drill down to the truth in a few minutes but most are fucking lazy or from Florida

For the same reason that this bloc of the population doesn't protest police shootings like Daniel Schaefer, but will wax poetic about double standards, there will be no civil war. Apathy or comfort or just social fear of being seen as the same protesters that have been demeaned and accused on the other side, etc. There just isn't usually a big move for action. Outside of schizoaffective loners, I don't expect a violence.

What I do see is that a hundred million Americans have been sold that the institution of our election is false and has been clearly undermined. That's not true at all. But it's accepted as fact by a solid portion of the population.

But you literally just posted this information yourself? I don't understand. You're spreading a video that has an easily proven lie in it.
And since you didn't post about how they are lying it appears you're endorsing the video?

Sure everybody has been got at some point. But why support the spread of lies at the same time you talk about wanting truth.

It's clearly not illegal to count votes after the polls closed. So I'm going after the simplest fact in that video. Something that would take 5 seconds to look into. And yet that's what they say.

People that didn't want to fight have slowly done so accidentally for all of history. So I could be wrong in my optimism.

I think it's good to hope that, but also good to prepare within reason.

At this point in the voting process (and this thread), "what difference does it make" I thought it was funny

lol, now I need to follow up with a subsequent post stating a position of the original posted video?? Is this a site rule??

besides how many Americans will read or be influenced by things posted to this thread

I get it, I'm kidding

It's incredibly dangerous.
It will take years to recover from this.
The only people who care are ardent Trump supporters who would have been convinced it was stolen even if he'd conceded on election night. It'll be business as usual next election cycle. You're ignoring a lot of recent election history to pretend otherwise.

This has been pretty unprecedented as far as elections go, in the best country in the world.

Reloading is a lot less secure than you seem to think.

That's why are are buying any and every component we can find, when we can find the components. We are even buying stuff we don't intend to use so we can barter with it.
We will build a massive stock pile, I think you underestimate how much I get into something, when I get into it.

I mean long term. Not many good powders are made in the U.S. shut off the powder valve and that's a wrap. Powder also has some storage requirements that you probably don't want to be buying mass quantities.

I am aware of the storage requirements, the fire marshal will not be amused. up to 25 lbs is fine. 25.0000001 lbs up to 50 lbs need to be stored in a wooden magazine at least 1 inch thick.
I plan to have well over 50 lbs of powder. Right now in the US the issue is primers.

I personally believe this is a different situation than that election, and far worse imo
So in a case where the guy conceded, reneged and then had a lengthy court process, which exposed the election as a fraud, before ultimately conceding again. Is worse? How does one square that exactly?

I'm also wondering how we square away 4 years of "Trump's presidency is invalid because of Russian meddling and we're going to impeach based on this information that we (don't actually) have." isn't corrosive to the electoral process?

Make no mistake, Trump lost and should concede but people pretending this is some sort of unprecedented, democracy altering event are being sold a bill of goods.

For all the loud chants of voter fraud and ballot tampering and what not, it is very rare, possibly nonexistent, that you hear Trump's legal team use these terms in court.

It's almost as if lying to a judge has consequences...
