Anyways the bigger point is that there's a really complex argument about whether online communities owe you free speech, and regardless of the fact that I generally support that notion as a default and work away from there for decency of experience, section 230 and laws like it are critical to maintaining an attempt at the freest of speech in any community.

Lindsey Graham and Trump and others responding to their views of heavy moderating by forcing heavier moderating, is a direct attack on free speech. It makes open communities impossible.

it was meant to be a compliment. I am sure I am far from the only one who respects and appreciates all you do for us. In the past ten month you have had at least ten legit reasons to ban me and I would understand that without holding a grudge.
I visit one news site based in my country with huge traffic and they let almost anything slide because they are used to the fact that people here are bitter, miserable assholes who complain about everything but stand for and by nothing. Its exhausting to read, not because of the negativity but because they are simpletons who cant form a coherent argument. Paradoxically we have more freedom on the net than the usa, but if you film yourself pissing on a quaran you go to prison
