Honestly I think you would hate Canada.

Everything here sucks until everyone is vaccinated as per the non medically trained overlords. Canada is great because the people are friendly and awesome food is plentiful. Right now neither of those things are available.
does anyone know if there is data yet on the effectiveness of current vaccines on the newer, more transmissable strain(s) of the virus?

A new strain was just discovered that branched off last week's new strain
I highly doubt anything goes back to remotely close to "normal"

You are wrong. What's going on here should be clear to everyone at this point, but it appears a lot of people can't see the forest for the trees.
No Montreal steaks for the foreseeable future and B.C. about to lose ski hills.
I'm not there so I can't speak to what is going on.
I do know historically when the noose of control tightens(regardless of the reason) it rarely loosens back up.

I only stated that vaccines aren't ending anything as far as regaining freedoms.
I don't know what it is like to live in Canada at all so I am guessing on that.
