I took my dogs out before, it was a symphony of V8's. I'm sure it was equal parts stuck and having fun.Do people in Texas know that in many cases, they don't actually have to leave the house?
Talk about burying the lead. What kind of dogs?I took my dogs out before, it was a symphony of V8's. I'm sure it was equal parts stuck and having fun.

Why thank you. One of my neighbors used to run an art gallery (only lasted for like 9 months lol), and that was made by some local artist. I couldn’t resist when I saw it on the “we’re closing” sale? That mug is fucking incredible.
Not really, many of us are pretty dumb and think we can brave it hahaDo people in Texas know that in many cases, they don't actually have to leave the house?
You know that doesn't happen in other places, right? Not really, many of us are pretty dumb and think we can brave it haha
in all seriousness, this happens so rarely that some people go out with the attitude of “I’ll be careful and and It’ll be ok” mentality. And then when it’s too late they realize their in water taller than their boots.
doesn’t really matter the scenario - flash floods, low water crossings, snow, ice, etc people always get hurt or die in bad weather events. Often doing things non-essential. It’s just rare, so people don’t know better and go to far.
I mean, I’m sure it does. It’s just rare here, so people have less experience than some others might have in other locations. We get an event like this every 4-8 years or something like that. While in your area people would be at least somewhat more accustomed with it.You know that doesn't happen in other places, right?

I’m sure it happens everywhere, but in general and speaking for the whole, this is a big deal here in TX.
I’ve been here since 2001, and I can only think of a couple of times where it’s been down in the teens. And that’s usually only at night, and for like two days. This is the biggest string of winter weather I think I’ve seen since being here. Never seen one stretch on as long as this is expected to.This is the biggest freeze since the 1980s according to the news. So once in 30+ year event
No, no. I didn't say it does, I said it doesn't.I mean, I’m sure it does. It’s just rare here, so people have less experience than some others might have in other locations. When I said 4-8 years I guess I was only referring to snow or ice storms. But now that you bring it up, the intensity and duration of this is pretty unusual for TxThis is the biggest freeze since the 1980s according to the news. So once in 30+ year event
I misread you and thought it was sarcasm. No, no. I didn't say it does, I said it doesn't.
Tomorrow night we're supposed to get 10+ inches of snow. You know what we'll do? Watch TV and talk shit on the internet. Blizzards can be waited out, it's not rocket appliances.
