The dirty side of SPD is going to be a shit show if y'all are having to do surgeries until the water is up and running. So many dried biologics.

Dried blood and chunks on and inside of instruments. Needless to say, once it's dried it doesn't wash off and out nearly as easily. Which can lead to contamination in the next surgery or just expedite the need for repairs as things bind up and rust, etc.

Does it make you feel better if you know that in a lot of hospital systems the average worker in SPD/CS is paid just barely above minimum wages and are responsible for an important part of infection control and keeping an eye to insure that the instruments that the surgeons are about to use are functional?
