Been watching the walking dead for a few days. I've already watched it before, but this time round I noticed stuff I hadn't before and a couple episodes I must've missed. I liked the first season. Then it's a bit shite after that. Some episodes are really good. One thing I've noticed is they throwaway characters on a whim to try and create shock value. In reality it has an adverse effect because everytime they meet some cunt who wasn't in the first series you just have to assume they gonna get got in the season finale. Like I said I've already watched it and know about further stuff down the line so I won't spoil it.
But fuck me they could've had a great show here.
Hopefully the last of us show makes up for it.

Three 50 minute episodes. I began episode 1 after i was struggling to keep eyes open last night, yet got through 2.25 episodes. And finished it as soo as i could today, although that was partially a function of knowing i had under an hour lef

I went to the temple in salt lake city. The mall there is very fancy, the mormons own everything. They are like the mafia. I never trusted those motherfuckers.

Its really good. A solid 8. It was originally a you tube sensation so the kids already know about this. Bit like kobra Kai.
This is billed as a 15. I'm a bit shocked at that. Its very adult. But it's also very innocent. I really was surprised how different it treated a time old narrative. I was also surprised at how much I cared for the protagonists. It has a couple of pivots that you genuinely don't see coming.
Highly reccomend.

Peaky blinders is great. I remember when it first came out the nerds at work kept telling me about it (because I'm english) they said they had to watch it with subtitles lol. It took me years to actually sit down and watch it but I was glad I did. Great show

The Heaven’s Gate documentary is great. I’d like to see some one do one like that for David Koresch and the Branch Davidians in Waco. American Scandal has a good podcast on it, if you ever get into them. The one on the BALCO scandal was incredible, and it has USADA darling Jeff Nowitsky at the center of it all.
I’ve been watching Servant on Apple TV and it’s bonkers. Episode 8 of season 2 dropped today. 8/10 so far but it has potential to go either way...it’s produced by M. Night Shamalan.
Its just OK for me.

Its a BBC production. Its old but its timeless as its a bit of an English version of once upon a time in America.
Its what made Daniel Craig and Mark strong and many others famous.

I can't find the thread about Coming 2 America and because the movie is so bad I can't even be bothered to really look for it.
I am saddened by the reviews I read. I don't think I will watch it unless someone here convinces me it's worthwhile.
