No shit? This is worthwhile?
If you like kung fu movies. Basically it's a mad max world with no guns, but swords and kung fu. The world is ran by warlords who have they own armies and the story is about a general / assassin who breaks away from the life.

It's silly. But if you like kung fu it's good. When it finished I was dismayed to hear it hadn't been renewed.

TUF season 1-8 right now, It's a cool show and all, who could forget Junie Brownings little brother coming on to the show for example and having an egg fight.

One thing that I found odd was some fighter who basically passed out on the threadmill almost head first into the ground after cutting weight and Dana tells him "Yeah you should fucking know by now how this fucking show works idiots".

Then after he didn't make the weight after passing out multiple times, Dana explains the situations to him

"So you basically quit"

"well I couldn't cut the weight"

"Yea you fucking quit"

It's great that a guy with such a LENGTHY history of fighting and weight cutting can teach the whole world about weight cutting... I mean it's not like he was just a celebrity boxing coach who never had an actual fight before...
I just finished season 3 with Tito and Shamrock. Say what you want about Tito but he was a good coach. I guess he favored Hamil a bit but his guys were ready come fight day and it showed, they steamrolled Ken’s team. Ed Herman always being pissed was hilarious. I got season 5 with Penn and Pulver on right now as I’m doing shit around the house.

Bro that's so funny you would mention that, i've just started watching Season 11 with Chuck and Tito as coaches and I cannot understand the hate for Tito, such a good coach that actually cares for his team to the point where he gives them everything of himself. I think the hate for Tito is just a bunch of casuals who never understood how the sport started on a grassroots level. He seems very levelheaded and passionate about teaching.

Season 10 is btw the season that made me the most angry, I wont spoil it for you, but you'll catch my drift when you see it.

This forum should have a TUF thread for notes on the seasons.

I'm Murican and cant play on stars.

I play cash games online however my Poker coaches
want me to get in some live grinding once covid clears.

Currently going through an intesive boot camp and training
my GTO ranges.

Just bought a setup to start streaming my play on Twitch

I think streaming is gay but coach says it will help my game

The difference is night and day.
Yeah I know a ton of guys who play both.

Online typically plays like 5 stakes higher in terms
of skill and competition. Great to to get massive volume
and sharpen your sword.

Live much softer and profitable.

Unless your a maniac like Jungleman beating high stakes online
for millions.... My personal hero I want to be like when I gro up. lol

In my experience online is a much easier game than live. This is honestly the first time I've heard someone suggest otherwise.

The Pros started exploiting the gap in skill back in 2016.

Since then the gap in skill of online vs live players has only gotten worse (everyone online is running Solvers)
Ryan Laplante thinks its 32X tougher. I personally wouldnt go that far

From most of the guys I run with I'd say the current
thought is to expect 5-10X skill jump when going from
Live to online

PS: I love how we highjacked this thread and turned
it into a Poker discussion. Hahah We Rule!

online poker is demented. You just can tell people that you can see their hands and they trust you and then you win without even trying
It used to be all about exploitative play using HUDs so you could see
all your oppnents leaks... Now its all GTO and AI solvers.

Its dog eat dog

Not to mention the fuckin Bots have INVADED most sites

GG Poker and Stars does a decent job of catching and banning
guys running bots.

The online rooms better get it together or there will be no edge left within 5 years

What games do you play?
You mean types of poker games, or stakes?

Online play is much faster and tougher do to all the GTO, PIO Solvers and AI
you're up against
It was widely accepted that higher rate of play was one of the leading factors in online players getting smashed by experienced live players as they try to transition over. What occurs in minutes in an online game takes hours to occur in a live game with a dealer and a lack of patience is often a part of that package. There's also that playing online is like singing in the shower, playing live is like singing in an auditorium. Admittedly, I haven't been very active in poker in close to 10 years so opinions could have changed since then, and to your point as live tables increasingly fill up with people who have only ever played online that you're going to get more people who wilt under the bright lights.

Ahh I totally get where you are coming from. That abosultely was the case

However with the invention of faster computers and solvers it has completely
reversed. Even mid to high stakes ecellent live players are shocked when
they try to play online and have to drop 10 stake levels to find the competition
they were used to plying.

Every kid in their moms basement is running a solver for every position
online now. Its gotten ridiculous.

I came onto the scene just when Tom Dwan (online player with just 2 years experience)
start playing Live games and shocked the world.... The live Pros are hip now
and trying to reclose the gap. but how do you beat an AI ran game?

Most highstakes online vets are saying it will be dead within 5 years unless AI is banned
and urging their friends to switch to live or online PLO

You can't run solvers in a casino.
