My auto powder dump is a plastic spoon. I got one of those Lyman beam scales and it seems like it comes down to 2 or 3 pieces of powder every time. I’m not good but I’m slow.I'd argue I'm probably quicker than most turrets because of my process but not everyone is going to have an automatic powder dump.
That's awesome! I found out we have one by us, I'll be stopping by this weekend.I think they said 7.5x55 Swiss

Second batch of reloads for me.
Got some 150 gr Hornady Interloks
130 gr Speer Varmint and
174 gr Sierra MatchKing loads. All with varying amounts of powder. I was able to shoot some nice groups open sights at 50 yards, actually shooting the same bullet hole a couple times with the 174 and 180 gr I had. I go straight for the reload bullets now when I look for ammo. We just got a new Scheels in the Springs and Holy Shit! did they have a gang of 30 caliber bullets, I had to make myself leave. Got some 168 no lead hunting bullets and 180 gr Hornady Interloks.
@Filthy your little boy is learning. ?
I found a Hornady head space gauge kit and it had everything but 7.5 Swiss.

I’ve been looking into the mounted powder dumps but I like the spoon for now. It slows me down and makes it more personal. I usually put on some tunes or a podcast and do a step in the process, especially cleaning and prepping brass because that is so fucking lame. I love the feeling of pulling a completed round from the press. I’ve been looking for new rifles just so I can reload for them. Found a Husqvarna 640 8mm Mauser online for under 400 bucks. Excellent bore and all that jazz.Auto powder dumps are the shit. I have a digital lyman one and the Lee die mounted one.
Are those sticks SBR's?

Yeah, that’s what I was looking for. I’m still figuring this stuff out. Case shoulder depth is whats got me a bit confused. They have so many different tools and they aren’t cheap either. I used my caliper to check the GP10 ammo I have for reference on case length and I’ve learned Case Overall Length is not very important it all about the seating of the bullet. Luckily for me the die set I bought was already setup for good seating depth. I haven’t had any issues. I’m still figuring out this full length/neck resizing thing too, trying to get the most out of my brass.i'm just way behind on shit I need to mail. Do you still need a case length gauge?
Oh yeah...I took back some scrap and bought a chronograph with my haul.i'm just way behind on shit I need to mail. Do you still need a case length gauge?
Chronographs get pussy.Oh yeah...I took back some scrap and bought a chronograph with my haul.
I've got a pair of vacuum sealed Miesha panties. If they are subs, I'll jerk you off myself.
No subs yet. That's a load I worked up, 20.4 gr of CFE Black, mixed 300 blackout brass, 110 gr Lehigh controlled chaos seats at 2.000, cci 450 primers.I've got a pair of vacuum sealed Miesha panties. If they are subs, I'll jerk you off myself.
Picked up a Gen 3 Glock 29 over the weekend, still waiting on background check. To be Continued...
I got the Caldwell base model. I’ll take a picture of what I got when I get home. I might download the app and plug it into my iPad for posterity but I like writing it down while I’m on the range. I’ve been loading everything a bit light though. My next batch I might do a few Max loads to check the FPS and see how the accuracy holds up.@Big Dummy what chronograph did you get? Show us some reloading data porn.
I’ll be honest, I wanted the G20 but I found the 29 for 640 shipped, not ideal but not ridiculous. How do you like the G40 because I think I’m gonna get another 10mm down the road, have it be the 20, 40 or in the 1911 platform. I heard Girsan is gonna have a 10mm 1911 out soon.Love the 10mm. I've got a G29 and a G40

I read to use fast burning pistol powder for sub sonic rifle rounds. My dad loves his g20.
I am working up 45 super loads next week, if the parts for my 1911 ever arrive.
I watched some videos on the 29 and 20 and there wasn’t much of a difference in accuracy or velocity, there was a little bit but nothing significant. I wasn’t sure about the shorter grip but I got some Pearce base plate extenders and I bought some G20 mags and put a pachmyer sleeve on them. Should help with the grip. I’m excited to pick it up. Found 550 rounds yesterday and 250 earlier in the week. I’m at 1000 rounds so far, mostly brass so I’m gonna reload them too.My dad loves his g20.
