Body aches and felt like I had a cold.
Moderna?

I had no side effects to the first dose but the second dose kicked my ass for a good 6-8 hours. Body aches like you said and just felt like shit, much like a cold or even a mild version of the flu (I've had the flu before and this was not even close in severity, but the symptoms reminded me of it).

I would advise anyone on their second dose (Pfizer or Moderna, I've heard similar reports from family members who got Pfizer) to take the day following the shot off of work if possible. The effects are very short-lived, but they're definitely a little rough.

If you move to Florida today, you can get it! I’m scheduled Wednesday afternoon.
Let us know how it goes.

My mother got the Pfizer vaccine as she works for the state.
She had no issues at all. Smooth as butter. Had a friend get the
same vaccine and he was all fucked up for about 9 hours.

Guess it just depends how each individuals body responds.

I'm still in watch and wait mode myself.

Hopefully this damn virus will be an after thought soon

Stay safe peeps

Walgreens says “Pfizer or Moderna” so it could be either. I will definitely keep you guys updated. My dad was fine after the first one, but the second ran him down.

The U.S. has been one of the world leaders for vaccinations. There are other countries with higher percentages vaccinated, but all of them have much smaller populations and land area. If you compare countries similar in size or population to us, no one else comes close.

Both Trump and Biden deserve credit - Trump for funding vaccine manufacturers early on and Biden for improving the efficiency of the vaccine distribution process.

Apart from the UK, our vassal states (Canada, Australia, NZ) have been an embarrassment to the English-speaking world.

I dont think many are happy with their healthcare.

If it makes you feel any better. Im single and pay $680/month for Blue Shield
Health insurance and I have a 1 month waiting period to see my doc
Through work? What is your deductible?
I pay half that for just me, but it’s partially employer funded. $750 deductible.

Through CAs Covered program. I cant get it at work. The partners in
my firm are not allowed. We have to pay for it ourselves.

My Copays are $30

I have the Blueshield PPO 80/20 Gold plan

Will probably switch it next year as the PPO part is worthless! You still have to go
through your Primary to see a specialist. I'd look into hitting them for false advertising
but dealing with the red tape and BS...

Ain't nobody got time for that

My wife just got Pfizer #1 this morning. I'm scheduled for Friday morning, but not sure what vaccine yet.

I can't say that I'm excited to get the vaccine, but at this point I just want to get this shit over with and move on. Austin, and Texas in general, is slamming doses out right now. Finally making some good progress.

My parents in Illinois are both fully vaccinated now, so that's good too. My in-laws and my wife's 95 year old grandpa (Arizona) are also fully vaccinated now. Gramps was the one we most wanted to protect from the virus.

The PPO part REALLY sucks. My son is on a PPO and it’s a pain. Luckily his primary is awesome and easy, but sometimes filling prescriptions is a nightmare.

Excellent. Glad to see your older folks are getting the care they need.

As for your dose just hope it isnt the Astrazeneca one. Thats the one Dr. Andrews
said not to touch with a 10 foot pole. He literally called it "The really dumb one to take"

BTW... Just got back from a trip to his labs in Reno where he's immortalizing
human cells, growing human skin on mice and reversing the skin cells age, growing
back mice brains that have/had 70% brain damage from Alzheimers

Some cool human trials on age reversal coming out this summer from his team in addition
to the human trials approved and listed on PubMed and Clinical Trials .Gov

Humble dude. Gave me a copy of both his and his wives books, answered
all my questions (and I know I musta asked some dumb as fuck ones) patiently
and openly then gave me the full facility tour
