Should your title just say "why aren't you getting the vaccine?"
I wanted to be specific because people like yourself (and you've done it in this thread) will post long winded non-answers. jason73 @jason73 was very honest, and I can respect his decision. "Because I have an immune system." is not a reason. I don't mean "I don't deem it valid." I mean "It doesn't make any sense."

Not all decisions are concern orientated
Yes, actually. They are.

Used, you think?

Wheres the misinformation label?

Can you fix a broken vehicle?

If you can, do you think you get parts cheaper as a mechanic, or dealing direct with part suppliers in volume?

Simple questions, won't get an answer.
Please stay on topic.

So no responses to ad hominem which is already off topic and of no addition to discussion?
Responding to "Ad hominem" would have been "That has nothing to do with the validity of someone's claims." It is not "Hey, let's talk about parts sourcing."

If he says something that offends you, use the report button.

Dispute, smartypants.

"mRNA vaccines take advantage of the process that cells use to make proteins in order to trigger an immune response"
Once displayed on the cell surface, the protein or antigen causes the immune system to begin producing antibodies and activating T-cells to fight off what it thinks is an infection."

That couldn't be misused at all, could it?

Not by anyone with critical thinking skills.

Yes, actually. They are.
My answer was long winded

It was clear that I was saying I don't need it so why get it

Being in the 99.8% is absolutely a reason...immune systems are winning at a very very very high rate

This has nothing to do with concern for many people...it has to do with need. Many feel they don't need it.

So what do you think happens if you get it?

No, just the way your body produces antigens.

What a surprise the guy who got banned from his highschool computers would back something that's akin to a Trojan horse in your body.

"While working with the Computer Center's PDP-10, Gates was responsible for what was probably the first computer virus, a program that copies itself into other programs and ruins data."

Quite something if you think humans are just AI with corrupted programming.

The outside influences on people's ability to be able to think are cause for concern too, not that it matters anymore.

Nominee to be assistant secretary of health is an advocate for off label hormone blockers that don't have any health group approval. But spoke up negatively about about use of hydroxychloroquine, and pulled his mother out of a rest home the day before the dem states decided that rest homes had to admit covid positive patients, and would increase testing at such sites. And has 100 odd rest home covid reports missing.

probably nothing at all

why does that matter to you tho?

I don't need or want it, end of story...that was clear in my initial post

It is just Saline Solution and Holy Water depending upon Region...I don't need that right now

This thread would have very few posts if it was about concern.

As someone that also doesn't want or need it, I'm trying to suss out if I'm having an emotional or a rational one. I thought "Hey, I'll ask some other people and see what other people's concerns are" The honest people are saying "Fuck that, you're not the boss of me." The less honest ones are obfuscating their reasoning. What I'm unfortunately not getting is an objective reason that everyone just goes "Yeah, that makes sense."

Ok, I have to swear...I get it.

The way my mind operates is on a if it ain't fucking broke don't fucking fix it model. That analogy works for me, it might not for you.

I don't think you are gonna get a consensus.

Trust your instincts.

I often tell my lover lady that I would agree to be the last vaccinated person because I’m young healthy strong tall lean muscled with 4% body fat and I kept a godly shape in quarantine but reading this thread has tripled my anxiety to get a big shot from whatever company.

Two weeks after your first dose of an mRNA vaccine, you have roughly 50-80% immunity. Two weeks after your second dose, you have full immunity.

The only cases I've seen have been within ~1 week of the first dose, when the body hasn't built up any immunity yet.

I don't think this vaccine is effective due to people still getting covid after getting it and dieing. it has no proof behind it that it even works unlike other vaccines that have been in use for decades. you also have the risk of severe reaction or even death as a side effect. lastly I am disturbed by our government using it to control people with things like covid passports, fines, curfews ,shutdowns etc.
