To be fair, the new cases in America from January until today are, well frankly, they're staggering.
Its hard to tell what to believe anymore. Its so politicized
and so much falsifying of info on both sides
All I know is I lost a friend of 20 years to the shit.
It gave my Aunt permanent fuckin heart damage.
And I have a buddy whos wife is pregant fighting for her

Not that I looked very hard, but there wasn't much info beyond "He was very sick." I won't be surprised if it's another Cody Garbrandt situation.
Whatever it is I hope he is OK.
I only watched the video of his sister and I kept getting distracted at her sage like face.

I find it very strange to see people borderline celebrating when an unlikely person gets really struck down by it, or in some cases openly wishing death on people when they contract it.

I know that was recommended but was it followed everywhere? Is that publicly available information?
Would really be nice if there was a standard that could be followed so looking at numbers and Data was apples to apples instead of apples to oranges...I hope that there is a required standard in place for all testing, too much at stake to not.
I wouldn't put it past some regions, states, govs, etc... to use whatever cycle count they see fit for whatever reason.

i know. that's why I pointed out that they went from cycle count of 40 to (IIRC) 32. Thats >> 5X more selective.
My understanding is that all of the federal labs follow that guidance.
I'm making an assumption that most of the other labs follow suit...they did when they turned it up in advance of the election.
They did that here too. Cases have not fallen off a cliff.
We shouldn't make assumptions on such an important thing.

Cases briefly fell off a cliff, now Canada has more daily cases per capita than the U.S.
most tests are not done in the fed labs AFAIK. But I haven't heard anything other than following the politically-motivated guidance of the WHO.
