oh fuck . the albertans are out on okanagan lake tying 5 house boats together and partying there asses off while the skimmers dip in to the lake a few miles away

i went downtown saturday and there were 100s of people walking around , boats on the lake . every patio full with a line out the door . some dude was parasailing on the lake. i remember thinking this dumb fuck just paid 100 bucks for a half hour to strap a parachute to his ass so he could get even further up in to the smoke and he cant even see shit from up there .we are the onlly place in the province with a mask mandate and all the regulations but you cant even get a hotel room in this city right now

I mean, that's just insane. I thought the province was on top of this situation, but I guess I should have known better.
