Chinese State Media Says Afghanistan a Lesson for Taiwan on How U.S. Abandons Allies
The paper's editorial began by describing how the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan caused the Taliban's forces to quickly seize control in what it deemed "a heavy blow to the credibility and reliability of the U.S."

The Times then cited what it called similar situations, such as the fall of Saigon during the end of the Vietnam War in 1975 when the U.S. evacuated its citizens from the city. The tabloid also wrote of how the U.S. "abandoned their allies, the Kurds," when it withdrew troops from northern Syria in 2019.

"Some historians also point out that abandoning allies to protect U.S. interests is an inherent flaw that has been deeply rooted in the U.S. since the founding of the country," the editorial contended before claiming America betrayed France soon after the latter aided the original colonies in gaining independence from Britain in the Revolutionary War.

The media has uncritically repeated the propaganda of the military and political leaders about Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and all the other pointless US interventions. Many of these outlets are owned by defense industry-connected companies. The corruption is deep.”

Ask your man Ron. He said it.
The media is the psychological control wing of the central intelligence agency.
The red vs. blue dynamic is nothing more than carefully controlled opposition to deceive viewers to focus their attention & emotions on that dynamic.
Dr. Paul knows this of course, and has said it over the years, even on the Liberty Report. But he also knows when that line is crossed his life and family are at risk. Even so, in the final stages of the current coup, he has been deplatformed and censored.

It takes decades for most to come to terms with this. It has nothing to do with intelligence & everything to do with psychology.
If the Paul's did what everyone wants them to, and thinks they should, they wouldn't be alive and no one would be the wiser or care to act on it.

I just spoke to a woman that used to work for me. She is former Army, and her husband who is now a commercial airline pilot, used to fly the C17-A cargo plane when he was in the Air Force. He knows the crew who piloted flight 871 and they say the number was closer to 800 Afghans (vs the 640 reported). How that bird got off the ground we will never know, but those pilots have balls of steel and hearts of gold to take that chance.

I was curious about this earlier. I think I read that the maximum load was 150 people, which is bollocks as they are massive and have vehicles in them, but I'm sure at some point someone told the pilot it's quite full. I'm sure past the regulated take off weight. And he said fuck it and went for it....

Daft cunt could've killed everyone on board and himself.

Judobill @Judobill in mainstream flying ops do you not have a mission commander or a checklist during pre flight? Or a cunt like me that can call off the flight?

He did vote for this war.

He voted for the troops to come out in 2011 though.
He voted for what was handed to everyone, military operations in Afghanistan to nab Bin Laden.
You can't say he voted for the "war" & forever black operations that manifested afterward, when it became apparent that the military industrial complex lied.
The "war" title is a careful term used to allocate the country's power by way of spproval from congress.
So until you read the book handed to congress try cutting him andvothers some slack for not knowing the future; hindsight is 20/20.
What we call war & what is handed to congress as what is often a legal formality are 2 different things entirely.
All policing the U.S. has done since WW1 makes this clear.

Payload capacity for a C-17 is 165k iirc.(one of those nerdy stat guys)
Since Afghans don't weigh 200 pounds a piece & they all know that, they know they were at safe capacity.
