So to do anything real, you have to account for that.
And what "reassessment of how we're handling things" would get the millions and millions of covid deniers on board? Nothing, is the answer. Any action taken becomes Bill Gates and George Soros injecting microchips to change people's DNA. Any public health official who says anything except, "do whatever you want all the time" gets Fauci'ed. Any medical treatment gets fake newsed all over Facebook. There is no possible treatment or course of action that won't result in exactly the same reaction from the sparkuris and Freedoms of our societies.

The medical establishment is apolitical. They're limited only by their desire. I don't live in America. The politicians here have all very much been on the same page. Still they've done nothing aside from pray that everyone takes the vaccine. The vaccine which may or may not stop the pandemic.
