Hardly a "master of international affairs". That's like calling Timothy McVeigh a political genius.
Case to be made for Timothy McVeigh being a political genius in 3, 2, 1…
McVeigh was actually an interesting character. I read the book "American Terrorist" which he sat for dozens of hours of interviews for, and which was the only project about the bombing that he contributed to.
He was not a political genius.
Book is highly recommended, though. One of the most interesting true crimes, in my lifetime at least.

If he's a "master of international affairs", then by that metric, couldn't we also call Eric Harris a "master of educational policy"? After all, nobody has had more impact on the school experience for American children in the 21st Century than he has.

Well, he did accurately predict a lot of the changes in American educational life that his actions produced. And nobody had more of an impact on the American high school experience.
Or maybe he was just a violent psychopath whose thought process didn't really extend much beyond how he could cause the most violence, death and trauma possible while gaining himself the maximum amount of notoriety in the process.
