I'm all for kids getting fed, but he didn't fix shit.

The bennies moved them above whatever level they calculate as "child poverty".

Every single one of his "Hooray for us!" successes can be attributed to manipulation via smoke and mirrors. And dem sweet, sweet bennies.
"Giving the poor money and calling em not poor anymore is manipulation via smoke and mirrors"
Might be your best train of thought yet.

If it didn't trickle down by the rich its not real!!!

That's not what I'm saying at all. But go ahead and jeep putting words in my mouth.

Claiming to fix poverty - or lessen it - by just giving money out by the trillions isn't fixing anything. Are they better off? Sure. Are they self-sufficient? Fuck no.

It's unsustainable. Unless we're just gonna roll out the bennies to everyone ad infinitum and assume that's the fix?

I'd rather see money pumped into these communities to provide opportunities for growth and self-sufficiency. Handouts are a place-holder. They keep people sucking on the government tit - which is exactly what many in power want.

Im just busting your chops bro. I understand where you are coming from, but you worded it quite poorly.

IMO you are not wholly wrong nor right. But see it this way, in a sporting game you gonna celebrate your team going in front no matter how the game goes from there.

but some people will use that handout to become self sufficient. Are there people who will take advantage of it? Absolutely. Rich people take advantage of all sorts of government handouts(tax breaks). I agree with you that it starts with fixing the communities though.

I have no idea if it’s the right choice because I’m not knowledgeable about such things as they affect Deutschland, but it’s great that we’re talking about it!!

EXCLUSIVE: Embattled QAnon congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene 'openly cheated' on her husband of 25 years with a polyamorous tantric sex guru and then moved on to another affair with the manager at her gym
  • Marjorie Taylor Greene had affairs with tantric sex guru Craig Ivey and fitness gym manager Justin Tway, DailyMail.com has learned
  • The embattled Georgia congresswoman, 46, has been married to husband Perry Greene since 1995 and shares three kids with him
  • Neither man denied the affairs when approached by DailyMail.com, but both refused to comment on their past relationships with Taylor Greene
  • 'I have no interest in talking about anything to do with that woman. Everything with her comes to no good,' Tway, 42, said
  • Taylor Greene had met her two lovers while working at a gym in Alpharetta, Georgia in 2012
  • Insiders say she was so brazen about her affairs they believed her marriage was on the rocks, but it appears the couple has put her infidelity behind them

Agreed, it's a complex issue to unfold and I'm not sure if it would help or hurt in the long run, but it's good that it's on the table to get the players on note. In the last couple years the housing market showed some notable excesses and crazy prices.

Berlin on its own already tried (and failed) to limit the cost of renting.

Most important is to build new and more tho.

Mitch McConnell says the GOP will vote for the US to default on its debt
  • Pelosi and Schumer said they would attach a debt-ceiling suspension to the government-funding bill.
  • McConnell quickly struck down the idea, saying the GOP would not vote for the legislation.
  • They effectively dared him to vote for the US to default on its debt, and he met their dare.
