That's the "I would have done everything right" guy.I remember going to Parler and AR-15.com that day and they were lit up like Christmas trees. They were calling the insurrectionists idiots but then saying they wished they were there.

Even those there just to fuck things up clearly don't have a lot going on with their lives. In either case, I generally have trouble celebrating the ruination of someone's life. Some are on the spectrum. Some are sincere, intelligent people who were badly misled by an awful man. Some are just idiots who got swept up in an exciting "movement" instigated by an egomaniac. Some were just there to fuck things up, and they were all let into the place.
I'm more about penalties to prevent/ discourage it happening again.Even those there just to fuck things up clearly don't have a lot going on with their lives. In either case, I generally have trouble celebrating the ruination of someone's life.
You nailed it.That's the "I would have done everything right" guy.
that's a misconception about penalties related to poor impulse control, a harder smack on the nose is not often the right prescription.I'm more about penalties to prevent/ discourage it happening again.
Penalties on the stiff side are better than wrist slaps.
How about they each get a solid punch in the nose, televised Nationally and time served?that's a misconception about penalties related to poor impulse control, a harder smack on the nose is not often the right prescription.
people like @Robbie Hart are willing to take a punch in the nose just to watch elder porn...How about they each get a solid punch in the nose, televised Nationally and time served?
Or pilloried and forced to watch elderly porn.
Something
Don’t have time to readpeople like @Robbie Hart are willing to take a punch in the nose just to watch elder porn...
i like the thought, i just think there's a lot of bureaucratic overhead if we have to screen everyone with that Kobe Bryant Cock Excito-meter.
Agreed. Traitors should be hanged, not penalized.that's a misconception about penalties related to poor impulse control, a harder smack on the nose is not often the right prescription.
How faithless he is to the cult leader.Agreed. Traitors should be hanged, not penalized.
It's crazy to think how close we came to actual deaths in the capitol. I wonder what the conversation would be, had they caught Pelosi or Pence and killed either. The reason we have the GOP lining up behind Trump and denying the insurrection is because they can still equivocate- "It was no different than any other day at the capitol." "look, they're staying inside the velvet ropes" and other bad faith arguments. Almost everyone on that day, McCarthy included, turned on Trump until they knew the worst hadn't happened. If Pence had died that day, what would we be discussing now?
People have been worshiping whatever is most shallow, so it naturally led to the WH.It's amazing that all it took to upend American democracy was one moron who did what he wanted because he had no idea how to execute the actual responsibilities of his office. It's like when my 7 year old nephew wants to go the other way on the Monopoly board and half the other players see that this benefits them, so they do it too.
I always thought it would be a brilliant strong man who would dismantle democracy.
Discussing the "what if's" of Pelosi or Pence being killed on January 6th, makes about as much sense as discussing how sasquatch would behave in a Starbucks. How faithless he is to the cult leader.
Because you know he's been Ivy League educated and has been formally trained in social decorum. Everyone knows this.Discussing the "what if's" of Pelosi or Pence being killed on January 6th, makes about as much sense as discussing how sasquatch would behave in a Starbucks.

Idiocracy does not tell the story of a moron (or a strongman for that matter) dismantling democracy.Watch "Idiocracy"
President Camacho is actually a far, far better President than Trump. For a start, he actually wants to help.Idiocracy does not tell the story of a moron (or a strongman for that matter) dismantling democracy.
You should watch the movie again if that's what you think.
How many things would have had to have happened for Pence to be killed?Agreed. Traitors should be hanged, not penalized.

It's the story of a democracy completely incapable of serving any need except the need to be entertained.Idiocracy does not tell the story of a moron (or a strongman for that matter) dismantling democracy.

How many things would have had to have happened for Pence to be killed?
tell me about it. I think it would have taken orders of magnitude more than what was present. Not that much.
He's almost as much of a cunt as Trump.
