Same with books and video games etc. Not that you ain't got a point, but then we can expand it and ask, well they are pro gun but are they also pro killing sprees?Movies like Westerns do a thing that anti-gun advocates refer to as "glorifying gun violence". I can't think of any instance of "glorifying rape" being an issue. Ie, There are countless movies where the hero goes on a mass shooting spree and the audience loves them for it. On the other hand, I can't think of any movie in which the audience celebrates a rape.
But fine let's look at other examples. Who should play Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees?
