The weird part is that we are fully opening up today and you heard all this nonsense AFTER set dates for opening up were already in place. As of today, essentially all restrictions lifted except for indoor masks, and in a few weeks it will be down to just masks on public transport, nursing homes and hospitals. You have to wear a mask on a train. The tyranny.
The best part about 'freedom day' though is that now we've got thunderstorm asthma again, which is proof that this city has its own God and he has a sense of humor.

Sums up the country well. The vaccine is a small reminder of what its society used to be - one with problems but also one that regularly achieved advanced scientific breakthroughs, and where the idea that people wouldn't get or take vaccines would be laughable. And the refusal to take the vaccine shows what a shithole of a country it is now, where government is broken and public trust is non-existent.
