@Former Maycee Barber Fan @John Lee Pettimore this is a terrible look for the government of Australia imo:

You create rules for entry for foreign nationals. One of them allows medical exemptions to the vaccination requirement. Decisions on exemptions are made by an independent medical body.

Djokovic gets such an exemption. Reason not made public bc of privacy laws, obviously.

People get upset so the leader of the country seemingly reneges on the already granted exemption but only after Djokovic takes a cunt of a flight to Australia.

Make rules/laws and stick to them. Shit makes you look like a banana republic.
Novax Djokovic is stupid cunt and everyone is happy

Unvaccinated New Yorkers are being hospitalized at a rate of 30 per 100,000, while just 2.1 of every 100,000 vaccinated ones are experiencing symptoms that require hospitalizations.

Bc you have close contact with other people and asymptomatic covid positive patients can still spread the virus.
Hmmm, just sounds fishy... "kids with covid" to me and please understand I am high functioning retard, kids comes into hospital not related to anything covid gets tested, false positive..... covid up up and away

You think its odd that they would want to protect those sick in hospitals from being exposed to covid?

That just sounds odd to me.
You a politician bro?

No, I do not think it odd wanting to protect sick people that are in the hospital. I think it's odd a child could come to the hospital with a broken arm and have to the a covid test

Edit... a child not showing any cov8d symptoms

To be fair, ideally we should just test everyone. Then we can isolate the sick while they recover and the rest of the world can just go about their business. Pandemic over.

A major reason to swab everyone is to isolate the covid kids from others when admitted. A hospital, especially children hospitals, has an innately larger group of people that are immunocompromised and for whom covid represents a much larger risk than usual.
COVID patients are also managed, like other respiratory pathogen patients, with different PPE than say a broken bone with no infectious process going on.

Well they understandably have to test everyone that gets admitted to the hospital because we're dealing with a contagious virus. And according to what I've read, false positives aren't that common, both among RA and PCR tests.

But what hospitals should be doing is releasing records of how many patients tested positive after being admitted for covid symptoms and how many tested positive after being admitted for something else.

One hospital I know of in Miami said the former and the latter were about 50% each. I'd like to see this kind of reporting on a wider scale.
