Again - Zero issue with Biden selecting a black woman. It's announcing it ahead of time - before even naming a specific candidate - is what I find foolish.

You are an executive. Let's say you need to hire a new HR Rep for multiple locations. Standard protocol is to post the open position internally, so you send out an email...

"Attention all associates, I'd like to announce that we will be hiring a new HR Rep who will be over all locations. If interested, please let me know. Also...FYI - I will be hiring a black woman for this position."

in the past, i was against affirmative action. because i graduated 2 out of 220 and was rejected or wait listed from every single ivy league school. i found that unfair. my stance on affirmative action has since changed though

however, i am not sold on affirmative action being used for a lifetime appointment. without having thought through this much, my instinct is that affirmative action should be used for stuff such as college. but it should not be used for a Supreme Court pick

but to play devils advocate, a solid argument could be made that a form of "white-male" affirmative action has been used throughout the history of Supreme Court picks. so im 50/50 on this and believe that there is a black female out there who would be great

unfortunately, Biden is corrupt. the estabishment democrats and republicans are corrupt. so without knowing their background, my instinct is that whomever Biden chooses is going to be a black woman who is smart as hell, but also corrupt as hell
