I think the world paid attention to the US going into Iraq just as much. It's just the world. Couldn't do shit about it. It was probably just about his unpopular.

Most people don't have any idea if Ukraine is white or Christian in the United States. Russia has a poor image amongst most of the United States and a lot of Europe. So they're already on the shit list. If you knew nothing about the conflict, it looks like Russia bullying a small country.
Syria and Libya are way more complex without a single external force invading to lick in on as bad. If you are a very superficial it would read like a civil war and some sort of UN stuff going on trying to solve it.

Someone looked up their history and the Russian guy has never placed higher than The Ukrainian, and they’ve competed against each other over 14 times!!
