I am surprised that you are silly enough to think rhetoric like 'not slavs' and 'orcs', in reference to the 'Russian world' isn't treading down a dangerous path in such circumstances.

Even if you personally want to interpret it as only a reference to Russian political leadership, there is no objective basis for that to be the only or even most logical way to interpret it. Dehumanizing language doesn't even need to be direct - dog whistling can achieve the same thing - but this is actually very direct.

I am also aware that Putin exploits the Russian World concept to pursue his own imperialist agenda, but the difference is that I don't defend that piece of shit.

I edited that within a minute and extended it to Russian cultural influence as well because it wasn’t a well articulated sentence.

I didn't actually think you would defend it. I was expecting you to go 'yeah, that's pretty fucked up but it's a war and people say bad things'. But the fact you would actually try to justify it with a very specious argument is not good.

There's obviously a lot, lot worse in Ukrainian media. My favorite was the one guy who said he wants to become Adolf Eichmann and kill every Russian child (yes, this is actually what he said, in great detail).

I didn't post anything about it because, unlike what you're accusing me of doing, I didn't see any cause for alarm as I expect nuts to appear during an invasion. But when the defence minister starts using similar language, it's worth talking about.

My main problem is that the West can easily stop it, so there's no need to justify it. One call from Biden that says 'hey dipshit, post any retarded shit like that on twitter again and no more javelins' and it would cease.
