Fun fact: I know, but they got their asses well and truly kicked whilst doing so, took very heavy losses of both men and equipment, and their military became a laughing stock around the world. Finland came out of it with their reputation very much enhanced.

The Winter War was just part 1. Part 2 was Finland siding with the Nazis (a marriage of convenience but a marriage nonetheless) and then getting their asses, eventually, handed to them again.
