i had the pleasure of living there, you are absolutely correct. i’m sorry Americans, but youse guys need to grow up and get over your violent and backwards ways.I don't think gun ownership in and of itself is the issue. Countries by gun ownership does not correlate to countries by murder rate. When the UK and Australia increased restrictions, nothing changed.
The issue is that your country is fucking insane and you seem proud of it. You don't WANT to become more developed. You're proud of the lack of healthcare, subsidised higher education etc. If you were a rational people, gun ownership would be responsible and you'd be fine.
As someone who doesn't live in the US, I'm grateful. You're our canary in the mine.
