Open carry seems completely fucking insane to me, but I grew up here.

Concealed carry with zero training requirements also sounds like a terrible idea. In Florida you have to take a 4-hour class and then wait around 50-55 days for your application to be processed/permit to be issued. It isn't much but it's better than nothing.
I was getting gas yesterday and a dude had a holstered glock. He was wearing cargo shorts and flip flops. LMAO. Crazy fucker.

So we shouldn't spend billions locking schools and adding armed guards?
I was talking to a principal this morning and she brought up the “prison” thing. I told her it’s her school and she can do what she wants as far a what doors she locks. But when I told her it was harder to get into Costco than her school all she could say was “good point”.

During the summer, I carry a glock (concealed) and often wear flip flops and cargo shorts.

I'm just asking. If its rarer than lightning, is Filthy @Filthy suggesting that wanting to lock doors and add armed guards is a waste of money?

Bigger odds to be blown up in a plane but look what’s we did at the airports after 9/11

A huge waste of money.
Spend that on adolescent mental health care and address all sources of violence, instead of one specific outlet that will save (best case) 7 kids a year.

And it's worthless.

Locking the cockpit door was the solution.

What's the DHS/TSA budget this year?

You don’t have emergency exit doors in Canada? Every door on a building in fully accessible from the outside?
